Η φράση «η ελπίδα πεθαίνει πάντα τελευταία» πήρε σάρκα και οστά.
Ένα ζευγάρι που βίωσε τη σπαρακτική απώλεια του μωρού του στην 34η εβδομάδα της εγκυμοσύνης και, αργότερα, μία ακόμη αποβολή, έζησε την έκπληξη της ζωής του κατά τη διάρκεια του επόμενου υπερηχογραφήματος.
Στο βίντεο, που έγινε viral, ο σύζυγος και η σύζυγος κάθονται μαζί στο ιατρείο του γυναικολόγου, περιμένοντας να δουν το μωρό τους στην οθόνη του υπερήχου.
Έχοντας χάσει στο παρελθόν τον γιο τους σε προχωρημένο στάδιο της εγκυμοσύνης και έχοντας στη συνέχεια βιώσει μία ακόμη αποβολή, το ζευγάρι είχε ήδη περάσει μέσα από ανείπωτο πόνο.
Αυτή τη φορά, όμως, η υπερηχογραφίστρια είχε υπέροχα νέα: η γυναίκα όχι μόνο ήταν ξανά έγκυος, αλλά περίμενε δίδυμα!
«Πήρατε πίσω τα μωρά σας. Κλαίω με λυγμούς», σχολίασε συγκινημένος ένας χρήστης που παρακολούθησε το βίντεο.

Finding out we were carrying twins felt like the Lord was reminding us that He hadn’t forgotten about us. That there was still reason to hope. These boys were never a replacement for what we lost. Nothing can be.
